Get ready for revival beginning Sunday, November 15th. Francois Carr will be our speaker. Dr. Francois Carr, is the Executive Director of Heart Cry in South Africa. He is well known for his burden for revival and a popular speaker in Africa, North America and the United Kingdom.  He has authored several books and articles on prayer, holiness and revival. You can learn more about him at Heart Cry. Be praying for him and for great things to happen during revival.

We are coming along with our Awana program. The church has now been registered and most of the curriculum and supplies have already arrived. Our local Awana missionary will be speaking to the church on November 8th during the evening service. If you have any interest in serving in Awana or would like to learn more about it, don’t miss it! Volunteers are still needed as we will beginning training soon. Tentative start date for the program is early January. Stay tuned…

A church trip to New York City is being planned for Spring Break 2010 (tentative date). If you are interested in being part of this trip, please contact Jimmy Herron as we are just in the “thinking about it” stage and need to know how many people might be interested in going. We don’t have a schedule but some of the things we are hoping to do will include the Brooklyn Tabernacle, sight-seeing and exploring the city, shopping, fine dining, and Broadway shows. If you have a suggestion about other activities in the city or would like more information on the trip, contact Jimmy Herron.
