The Mission of New Horizon Baptist Church is to be a fellowship of believers that actively pursues a love relationship with God and each other.

We will accomplish this in these four ways:

• We will proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people. ~Matthew 28:19-20
• We will worship together in love and unity, praising and glorifying His Holy Name. ~John 13:35
• We will Join God in His work in our community to become everything that He plans for us to be.
• We will join our Heavenly Father in this love relationship, that none should perish but have everlasting life. ~John 3:16

In order to fulfill this mission, we feel that NHBC must have the following priorities:

• Nurture:  We will help new believers in their spiritual growth, and will encourage each other as we respond to the needs of our church family.
• Excellence:  We are committed to providing quality programs and activities because people deserve it and God expects it.
• Win Souls:  We are committed to fulfill the Great Commission, in our community and wherever the Lord leads us to go.
• Help:  We will show the compassion and mercy of Jesus to those who are in need.
• Obedience:  We are dedicated to following the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
• Real:  We provide groups to help real people in a real world develop real relationships with God and others.
• Instruction:  We believe the Bible is the ultimate source of truth and will teach the Word to provide direction and meaning in life.
• Zeal:  We are excited about what God is doing here and will share this excitement with others!
• Organized:  We are a Southern Baptist Church, and will cooperate with the organized efforts of the local, state, national and international conventions to reach the world for Jesus.
• Never:  We will never allow ourselves to become satisfied with our efforts, nor will we value tradition over the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
